Terms and Conditions for Use of Nationwide Roaming Minutes

Additional Terms: The Jump™ ("Jump") Terms and Conditions (the "Agreement") apply to your use of Jump Mobile’s roaming service ("nationwide roaming minutes"). By using nationwide roaming minutes, you acknowledge that you have been given and have read the Agreement and these additional terms and conditions and fully agree to them.

Requirements and Charges: nationwide roaming minutes enables you to use your service outside your Jump calling area on a prepaid basis. In order to use nationwide roaming minutes, you must have a compatible phone and select the nationwide roaming minutes feature and deposit and maintain sufficient funds into your Jump Mobile account. Even if your phone is capable, in order to activate the roaming feature, you must first add the nationwide roaming minutes feature to your account by dialing 866-515-JUMP or visiting your local authorized Jump store, then dial *228 and press Send, then follow the instructions to add the feature to your phone. Please visit your authorized Jump store or dial 866-515-JUMP if you need assistance. Funds you deposit into your Jump account may be used for other features, such as international long distance (to select countries) and directory assistance calls. nationwide roaming minutes will only be available after adding the feature to your account and updating your compatible phone by following these instructions and only if you have sufficient funds in your Jump account. You can replenish your Jump account by dialing *PAY (*729) from your phone, or if your account is depleted, by dialing 866-515-JUMP from another phone, or by visiting your local authorized Jump payment location. While using nationwide roaming minutes, your Jump account will be depleted at the current rate for your plan. Rates are subject to change. Each partial minute of service will be rounded to the next whole minute, and your Jump account will be charged from the moment you depress the Send key and access a network. Incoming calls will be charged at the rate for your plan from the moment you answer the call. Long distance charges, if applicable, for calls while roaming are calculated from your local Jump service area to the location where you make or receive the call. In order to provide nationwide roaming minutes at the lowest possible cost to you, call detail records will only be provided if specifically requested and only after payment of a record retrieval fee. The charge for using nationwide roaming minutes with your plan can be determined by dialing 866-515-JUMP or visiting www.jumpmobile.com.

Service: Calls made outside of your local Jump service area are roaming (or nationwide roaming minutes) calls. Your Jump Mobile phone is specifically designed and engineered to work only on the Jump network. It works on another providers system only when a roaming agreement is in place between Jump Mobile and other providers. If we do not have a roaming agreement in place, you may be able to place a call in a non-Jump service area "manually" by using a valid credit card. If there is a gap or other interruption of coverage within your local Jump service area that prevents connection with the Jump network and your compatible phone is set to roam automatically when outside your local Jump service area, you will incur roaming fees within your local Jump coverage area if you follow the two step dialing process for nationwide roaming minutes (see below). If you are traveling between two service areas, for example from your local Jump service area into another providers service area that is part of the nationwide roaming minutes roaming network, your call will drop and you must reinitiate your call using the nationwide roaming minutes procedure described below. Certain features are not available when using nationwide roaming minutes. When using nationwide roaming minutes, you are subject to the limitation of liability provisions and other applicable rules imposed by the roaming service provider and the Agreement. The level and quality of the mobile phone service on each network you may be roaming in depends on the availability and features of that network. Jump Mobile does not in any way guarantee service on any network in which you are making a roaming call. Any service coverage maps, diagrams, photographs and the like prepared and/or displayed for nationwide roaming minutes constitute an estimation of the geographic area where nationwide roaming minutes is available when making or receiving a call when outside your local Jump service area and is no guarantee that nationwide roaming minutes is available in those areas at all times or under all circumstances.

Using nationwide roaming minutes: First add the feature to your account by dialing 866-515-JUMP or visiting your local authorized Jump store, then add funds to your Jump account and update your compatible handset by dialing *228 and pressing Send, then follow the instructions. Please visit your authorized Jump store or call 866-515-JUMP if you need assistance. After you have updated your account and phone, you must first dial AWAY (2929) and then press Send. YOUR JUMP ACCOUNT IS BEING CHARGED AS SOON AS YOU PRESS SEND IF YOUR CALL SUCCESSFULLY CONNECTS. Second, when instructed, enter the country code (if applicable), area code, then the number you are calling and #, then wait for the call to connect. DO NOT DEPRESS SEND AGAIN. You can dial the number and # as soon as you hear the greeting after dialing AWAY and pressing Send. For incoming calls while outside your calling area, answer the call normally. Emergency calls must be made by dialing 911 directly.
